Editor's note: By an agreement executed between the commissioner of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and the commissioner of the Department of Commerce and Economic Development, the authority to issue industrial use highway permits and collect industrial use highway permit fees has been delegated to the division of measurement standards of the Department of Commerce and Economic Development under the authority of 17 AAC 35.030(f). Permit applications may be obtained from the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities at the maintenance and operations offices designated for the particular industrial use highway or from the division of measurement standards located at 12050 Industrial Way, Bldg. O, Suite 6, Anchorage, Alaska. The division of measurement standards may be contacted at the toll free number of (800) 478-7636. Completed applications must either be returned to the division of measurement standards at that location or mailed to P.O. Box 111686, Anchorage, Alaska 99511.
