Section 20.05.1940. Designation of salmon net gear permits by area.

  • 	(a)  A person who holds salmon net gear permits for more than one administrative area or his authorized agent shall designate upon a form provided by the commission, the single area in which he desires to salmon net fish in that year, as required by 5 AAC 39.115, adopted by the Alaska Board of Fisheries. The area so designated must be an area for which the person holds a valid salmon net permit.  
    	(b)  A person who held a single salmon net gear permit and used the permit for salmon net fishing, and subsequently acquired an additional salmon net gear permit in the same calendar year, is considered to have designated under (a) of this section the administrative area in which the person used the single permit.
