In order to qualify for a career opportunity grant, an individual (1) on and after the date that the application is submitted, must be in compliance with the requirements of AS 01.10.055 for establishing residency in the state; (2) must be at least 18 years of age; (3) may not be enrolled as a full-time student during the period of the grant; (4) may not have received a career opportunity grant during the state fiscal year preceding the state fiscal year for which the grant is sought; and (5) must be an arts professional as described in 20 AAC 30.310.
