(a) The purpose of the Alaska contemporary art bank loan is to acquire ownership of artwork and to loan the acquired artwork to state offices and to the offices of the members of the state's congressional delegation. (b) The goals of the art bank are: (1) to expose Alaskans to high quality work by Alaskan artists; and (2) to assist Alaskan artists through the purchase of their work.
