Section 5.02.110. Subsistence shrimp fishery.

  • In the subsistence taking of shrimp,  
    		(1) a pot used to take shrimp must have  
    			(A) no more than four tunnel eye openings; a tunnel eye opening may not exceed 15 inches in perimeter;  
    			(B) a bottom perimeter of no more than 153 inches; and  
    			(C) a volume of no more than 25 cubic feet;  
    		(2) no more than 10 pots per person, and no more than 20 pots per vessel, may be used to take shrimp;  
    		(3) from February 15 through April 30, a commercially licensed and registered shrimp fishing vessel may not be used to take shrimp for subsistence purposes in Districts 6 - 8 and District 10.
