The emergency regulation would have first appeared in print in the emergency regulations portion of 6 AAC in Register 153 (April 2000). The emergency regulation was made permanent on February 29, 2000, in time to also be included in Register 153 (in the "permanent" regulations portion of 6 AAC). To avoid confusion, the original emergency regulation was not printed in the emergency regulations portion of 6 AAC in Register 153 (April 2000). In 2010 the revisor of statutes, acting under AS 01.05.031, renumbered former AS 15.60.010 as AS 15.80.010. As of Register 196 (January 2011), the regulations attorney made a conforming technical revision under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to the definition of "numerical identifier" in 6 AAC 25.990, so that the cross-reference to former AS 15.60.010 now refers to the renumbered statute, AS 15.80.010.
