Beginning at the intersection of the southeast corner of City of Kasaan boundary and the shoreline of Kasaan Bay; then northerly along the City of Kasaan boundary to its intersection with South Thorne Bay Road; then northerly along the centerline of South Thorne Bay Road to its intersection with the City of Thorne Bay boundary; then southwesterly along the City of Thorne Bay boundary to its southwest corner in Kasaan Bay; then due south along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the median divide of Twelvemile Arm; then southwest along the median divide of Twelvemile Arm to a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the west of the mouth of Harris River, including Cat Island; then westerly following the thread of Harris River to its intersection with McGilvory Creek at the southern tip of Black Bear Lake; then northerly following the eastern shoreline of Black Bear Lake to its linking creek with Black Lake; then northerly following the eastern shore of Black Lake to its linking creek that drains into Big Salt Lake; then northerly along the thread of the linking creek to its intersection with Big Salt Road; then northerly along the centerline of Big Salt Road to its intersection with North Island Road; then northwesterly along the centerline of North Island Road to its intersection with National Forest Development Road 23; then northerly along the centerline of National Forest Development Road 23 to its intersection with National Forest Development Road 30; then northeasterly along the centerline of National Forest Development Road 30 to its intersection with Logjam Creek; then northerly along the thread of Logjam Creek to Sweetwater Lake; then northerly along the western shoreline of Sweetwater Lake to Barnes Lake; then northerly along the southern shoreline of Barnes Lake to its intersection with the City of Coffman Cove boundary; then southeasterly along the City of Coffman Cove boundary to its southeast corner on the western shoreline of Clarence Strait; then southerly along the shoreline of Clarence Strait to the mouth of Eagle Creek; then easterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the City and Borough of Wrangell boundary in the median divide of Clarence Strait; then southeasterly along the City and Borough of Wrangell boundary to its intersection with the Ketchikan Gateway Borough boundary; then westerly following the Ketchikan Gateway Borough boundary to a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the eastern shore of Grindall Island; then following the north shoreline of Grindall Island to a non-visible point-to-point line across Grindall Passage to Grindall Point; then northwesterly along the shoreline of Kasaan Bay to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Thorne Bay and the area within the community of Hollis.
