A portion of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough described as follows: beginning at the intersection of Whipple Creek and Milepost 11.47 North Tongass Highway; then northeasterly along the thread of Whipple Creek to its southern fork; then southerly along the southern fork of Whipple Creek to Slide Ridge Mountain; then northerly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to Thornton Mountain; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Talbot Lake Feeder Creek; then easterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the north shore of Lake Harriet Hunt; then easterly along the north shoreline of Lake Harriet Hunt to the mouth of the north fork of White River; then southerly along the thread of the north fork of White River to the east fork of White River; then easterly along the thread of the east fork of White River to George Inlet; then southerly along the western shoreline of George Inlet to the head of a small cove due east of Mahoney Lake; then westerly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the southeastern shore of Mahoney Lake; then westerly along the southern shoreline of Mahoney Lake to its western shore; then southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northeastern shore of Upper Mahoney Lake; then westerly along the southern shoreline of Upper Mahoney Lake to its northwestern shore; then southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northeastern shore of Upper Ketchikan Lake; then southerly along the eastern shoreline of Upper and Lower Ketchikan Lakes to the headwaters of Ketchikan Creek; then southerly along the thread of Ketchikan Creek to its intersection with the Tongass National Forest boundary; then southeasterly along the Tongass National Forest boundary to its intersection with the City of Ketchikan boundary; then westerly along the City of Ketchikan boundary to Milepost 5.8 North Tongass Highway; then following a non-visible point-to-point line to the intersection of Ward Cove and Tongass Narrows; then southeasterly following a non-visible point-to-point line to the shore of Gravina Island; then northerly following the shoreline of Gravina Island to Vallenar Point; then easterly following a non-visible point-to-point line to the median divide of Tongass Narrows; then northeasterly following a non-visible point-to-point line to the point of beginning.
