Beginning at the intersection of the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary and Shiniliaok Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Shiniliaok Creek to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending to Angutikada Peak; then northerly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Kuikcherk River; then northwesterly along the thread of Kuikcherk River to its intersection with Kobuk River; then westerly along the southern bank of Kobuk River to the mouth of Wesley Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Wesley Creek to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line west of Inerevuk Mountain, extending to Ruby Creek; then northerly along the thread of Ruby Creek to its intersection with Shungnak River; then northeasterly along the thread of Shungnak River to its headwaters; then northwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line to the intersection of Ambler River and Ulaneak Creek; then northerly along the thread of Ambler River to its intersection with the Noatak National Preserve boundary; then northeasterly along the Noatak National Preserve boundary to its intersection with an unnamed river; then northerly along the thread of the unnamed river to the mouth of Rough Mountain Creek; then easterly along the thread of Rough Mountain Creek to its intersection with the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary; then westerly, southeasterly, and southwesterly along the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Kobuk.
