(a) The following emergency equipment must be available in the operating rooms: (1) an emergency call system; (2) equipment for the delivery of oxygen; (3) mechanical ventilatory assistance equipment, including airways in a range of sizes, and a manual breathing bag; (4) a cardiac defibrillator; (5) cardiac monitoring equipment; (6) a tracheotomy set; (7) laryngoscopes and endotracheal tubes in a range of sizes; (8) suction equipment; and (9) emergency drugs and supplies determined by the medical staff. (b) A registered nurse shall be present to provide emergency treatment for patient.
