Section 7.26.980. Emergency use of epinephrine training program approval.

  • 	(a)  The department will approve  
    		(1) an epinephrine auto-injector training program that meets the department's Standards for the Approval of Training Programs for Emergency Use of Epinephrine, dated 2011, and adopted by reference;  
    		(2) an epinephrine ampule training program that meets the department's Standards for the Approval of Training Programs for Emergency Use of Epinephrine, dated 2011, and adopted by reference.  
    	(b)  An organization that is requesting approval of a training program under (a)(1) or (2) of this section must submit a course outline and all training materials to the department. The department will notify an organization in writing no later than 30 days after receipt of the course outline and training materials on whether the organization's training program is approved or denied.  
    	(c)  The department will maintain a list of approved training programs that will be available upon request.  
    	(d)  In this section, "ampule" means ampule, multi-dose vial, or prefilled syringe.
