Section 7.27.400. Persons eligible for treatment.

  • Any person living in a designated isolated area and meeting the above criteria (sec. 380 of this chapter) and who is not eligible under provision of federal law may receive medical and dental care from physicians and dentists employed by the U.S. Public Health Service, to the same extent that such services are available and can be provided Alaska Native people.  
    		(1) Charges for such services shall be on a schedule established by the U.S. Public Health Service.  
    		(2) Charges and collections for such services will be a responsibility of the supplier of the service and not a responsibility of the state.
