Section 7.80.100. Reasonable fee.

  • 	(a)  The reasonable fee for a service will not exceed the actual cost to the department of providing the service.  
    	(b)  The parents' ability to pay all or part of an established fee will be determined according to the formula set out at 15 AAC 147.010(a) - (c).  
    	(c)  A discount on a fee will be allowed to parents for whom a monthly support obligation under 15 AAC 147.010 would be less than the established fee. The fee will be discounted to not exceed the amount that a monthly support obligation for the parents would be under 15 AAC 147.010.  
    	(d)  A full discount on a fee will be allowed to parents whose income is insufficient to allow payment of any amount toward the fee under the criteria set out at 15 AAC 147.010(a) - (c).  
    	(e)  No discount on a fee for a particular service category will be allowed to an individual who is a beneficiary of a private health insurance plan that provides coverage for a category of service provided.  
    	(f)  Fees assessed under 7 AAC 80.100 - 7 AAC 80.120 will be collected by the Department of Revenue, child support services agency, through procedures established by formal agreement between the Departments of Revenue, Law, and Health and Social Services. If the agreement between departments does not provide for collection of a type of fee or from a type of client, that fee will be collected by the Department of Health and Social Services.
