  • 	(a)  In an appeal, the chair or commission may order time periods or procedures that differ from time periods or procedures specified in this chapter, if  
    		(1) strict adherence to time periods or procedures specified in this chapter would work injustice; and  
    		(2) the change would assist in facilitating the business of the commission or advance the prompt, fair, and just disposition of appeals.  
    	(b)  The chair will issue written notice of any change ordered by the chair or commission under (a) of this section to the parties to any appeal affected by the change.
