Section 8.90.194. Approved plumber and electrician workshops.

The director will approve a continuing education workshop if  
		(1) a description of the workshop and the number of hours of instruction are submitted to the director; the continuing education workshop must cover the edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code for plumber journeymen or the National Electrical Code, for electrician journeymen, in effect in the state at the time the workshop is presented;  
		(2) the workshop requires participants to register; and  
		(3) verification of satisfactory completion of the workshop is provided to the participants on a completion certificate; the department will provide completion certificates to authorized providers; if the workshop is provided by an approved national organization, a participant must obtain a completion certificate from the local representative of that organization.
