Section 4.04.300. Standards for state accreditation of schools.

	(a)  The provisions of this section apply to any public or private school in this state seeking state accreditation under AS 14.07.020.  
	(b)  The standards for state accreditation for a public or private school in this state are set out in Standards for Quality Schools, published by AdvancED as of 2011, and adopted by reference.  
	(c)  A public or private school in this state will be accredited by the department under AS 14.07.020(a)(6) if the school is accredited by the AdvancED Northwest after completion of the accreditation process, including the internal review and the external review.
