Section 6.25.205. Addition of lieutenant governor by nominating petition if no candidate nominated in a party primary.

If a candidate of a political party for the office of governor is nominated at the primary election and no candidate for lieutenant governor is nominated from the same political party at the party primary, the vacancy may be filled by party petition, in the same manner as vacancies resulting from death, withdrawal, resignation, or disqualification, under AS 15.25.110 - 15.25.130.
