(a) Examinations for electrician journeymen, power lineman journeyman, residential wireman, plumber journeyman, plumber restricted PG, and plumber restricted PU are available by appointment at the offices of the division of Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks. (b) An applicant may request that an examination be given in a location that is not specified in (a) of this section by submitting a written request to the Anchorage office of the division. The department will conduct an examination in the requested location, if the department determines it can reasonably provide the resources to give the examination in that location. (c) The minimum passing score for an examination given by the department under this section is 70 percent. (d) A person who fails to pass the examination given by the department may not be reexamined until at least 30 days following the date of the failed examination.
