A marijuana establishment may not operate in the state unless it has obtained the applicable marijuana establishment license from the board. The board will issue the following marijuana establishment licenses under this chapter: (1) a retail marijuana store license, granting authority for activities allowed under AS 17.38.070(a), and subject to the provisions of 3 AAC 306.300 - 3 AAC 306.360 and 3 AAC 306.700 - 3 AAC 306.755; (2) a marijuana cultivation facility license, as described in 3 AAC 306.405 and 3 AAC 306.410, granting authority for activities allowed under AS 17.38.070(b), and subject to the provisions of 3 AAC 306.400 - 3 AAC 306.480 and 3 AAC 306.700 - 3 AAC 306.755; (3) a marijuana product manufacturing facility license, as described in 3 AAC 306.505 and 3 AAC 306.515, granting authority for activities allowed under AS 17.38.070(c), and subject to the provisions of 3 AAC 306.500 - 3 AAC 306.570 and 3 AAC 306.700 - 3 AAC 306.755; and (4) a marijuana testing facility license, granting authority for activities allowed under AS 17.38.070(d), and subject to the provisions of 3 AAC 306.600 - 3 AAC 306.675 and 3 AAC 306.700 - 3 AAC 306.755.
